At Honorable Horsemanship, we strive to give the highest quality, well rounded education. We teach our students riding, horse care, and general horse knowledge that will be invaluable to them. We do this through a leveled, progressive curriculum.
Our lessons are halter to halter, which means students will learn how to handle, lead, groom, tack, and ride. Initially, collecting the horse, grooming and tacking will be done with the instructor. However, as the student progresses through the curriculum, they may complete those activities independently and will have more saddle time.
All riders begin in private lessons. Once they master the three ‘s’ Starting, Stopping, and Steering, they may progress into group lessons. Lessons will never have more than 3 riders, but typically will remain at 2. Riders will be placed in groups in the same skill levels as well as similar age groups.
Lesson Frequency and Billing
Lessons are pre-purchased as monthly subscriptions. This is to secure the same day and time each week to allow for optimum growth for the rider. We offer lessons at intervals of twice per month up to 4 times weekly.
